Business & Marketing for Natural Health Professionals

This Course Will Be Available Soon

Turn Your Education Into a Professional Practice

Learning your profession is one thing. Learning how to build a practice around that education is another.

Students at the Southern Institute of Natural Health come from many different backgrounds. Some are preparing to enter the natural health field for the first time. Others have completed extensive training but still struggle with questions such as:

Where do I begin? What services should I offer? Who do I want to serve? Should I work online or open an office? How do I find clients—and how do I operate professionally once they arrive?

This course is designed to help bridge the gap between practitioner education and professional practice.

Whether your area of study is naturopathy, iridology, herbalism, aromatherapy, wellness coaching, or another area of natural health, you will learn practical principles for developing a business that reflects your education, interests, professional boundaries, and goals.

From Practitioner to Practice

At the Southern Institute of Natural Health, students learn the theory and practical application of natural health disciplines and may choose to specialize in areas that complement their interests and abilities.

But becoming knowledgeable in your field does not automatically teach you how to run a business.

This course focuses on the business and professional side of natural health practice—helping students think through how they will structure their services, work with clients, maintain professional records, communicate what they do, and build a practice responsibly.

What You Will Learn

Students will explore:

  • How to plan and establish a natural health practice
  • Choosing an appropriate business structure and practice model
  • Online, home-based, and storefront practice considerations
  • Identifying your services and professional niche
  • Equipment and supplies needed for your practice
  • Creating a professional client experience
  • Conducting an organized client consultation
  • Professional documentation and report writing
  • Recordkeeping and client confidentiality
  • Ethical and professional boundaries

  • Building professional credibility and client relationships

Build a Practice That Reflects Your Education

A professional practice requires more than knowledge of natural health. It requires organization, communication, ethical boundaries, sound business practices, and a clear understanding of the people you want to serve.

This course is designed to help you take the education you have worked hard to obtain and begin developing a professional practice with purpose, structure, and direction.
