My passion for herbs began when I lived in the Philippines, a long time ago. It was there that I heard Filipino friends discussing their visits to the local village healer. I was astonished by the positive results they talked about. Intrigued, I begged to be taken along to one of their "appointments" so I could witness what was happening. I was convinced after this introduction that plant medicine was effective and it was then that I started my path to building a relationship with plants that even I couldn't imagine.
That was over 35 years ago and I am still as excited about herbal medicine as I was on that initial visit to the healer in the Philippines.
