16 Comprehensive Lessons | Live Interactive Webinars | Professional Practicum

More Than Learning the Numbers

Develop a deeper understanding of traditional RBTI through structured professional education, direct instructor interaction, and practical competency training. Learn to connect the measurements, understand the reasoning behind traditional RBTI principles, and demonstrate your knowledge through real-world application.

What You Will Learn

The RBTI Professional program provides comprehensive instruction in the measurements, calculations, relationships, and traditional interpretation principles that form the RBTI framework.

During the course, you will study:

  • BX — Learn how the BX measurement is obtained and how it is evaluated within the complete RBTI pattern.
  • Urine pH and Saliva pH — Learn how both pH measurements are obtained and why their relationship is important within RBTI interpretation.
  • Conductivity — Learn how conductivity is measured and how it is considered within RBTI in relation to mineral concentration and the overall equation.
  • Albumin — Learn how albumin is measured and how it contributes to interpretation of the complete RBTI picture.
  • Nitrate Nitrogen (NN) — Study how this measurement is obtained and how it is interpreted within RBTI in relation to protein intake and the other measurements.
  • Ammoniacal Nitrogen (AN) — Study how this measurement is obtained and how it is interpreted within RBTI in relation to protein utilization and the broader pattern.
  • Relationships Among the Seven Measurements — Learn why RBTI measurements are interpreted together rather than as isolated values.
  • Calculations and Mathematical Relationships — Work with the calculations used to examine relationships within the RBTI pattern.
  • Pattern Recognition — Learn to recognize recurring relationships among measurements and distinguish individual values from the overall pattern.
  • Correction Priorities — Study how traditional RBTI reasoning is used to determine which relationships are addressed first and why.
  • Documentation — Practice accurately recording measurements, calculations, observations, and practitioner notes.
  • Practitioner Workflow — Develop an organized process for moving from sample collection and testing through interpretation, documentation, and educational recommendations.
  • An Introduction to Sclerology — Explore the foundational principles of Sclerology, selected scleral signs, and their traditional interpretations. This introductory study familiarizes students with Sclerology while examining its principles in light of current scientific knowledge and available research.

Throughout the course, students will also work with the charts, reference materials, correction principles, dietary teachings, and practitioner decision-making processes used in traditional professional RBTI study.

Course Format

The RBTI Professional Course is a 16-week online program combining structured independent study, live interactive webinars, recorded instruction, and practical competency assessments.

Students progress through sixteen comprehensive lessons using the required textbook, instructional presentations, practical exercises, laboratory activities, and assessments.

Live Interactive Webinars: Students have opportunities to interact directly with their instructor, ask questions, discuss concepts, and develop a deeper understanding of RBTI principles and their application.

Recorded Instruction: Webinars are recorded and made available to enrolled students who cannot attend live or wish to review the material.

Professional Practicum: Students demonstrate their knowledge through four instructor-provided case studies, four independent client tests, and four follow-up client evaluations.

Successful completion of the required academic and practical assessments is necessary to earn the RBTI Professional Certificate.
